Currently...

Happy Sunday!  I hope your weekend has been great.  Joe and I have done a lot of different things this weekend:

• We went line dancing on Friday night at a country bar and hung out with (a cut-out of) Jason Aldean.  
  
• We went to the beach on Saturday.
  
• We saw Hangover 3.
  
• And, we did a lot of relaxing.
  

But instead of writing a usual weekend recap, I thought I'd share a survey with you!  Many blogs this week have been posting this "Currently" survey, and I thought I'd join in on the fun

Current Book: The Bridesmaid Lotto by Rachel Astor.  I found this book on the iTunes book store for cheap and it sounded interesting.  So far, it's a perfect light summer read!

Current Music: Fall Out Boy's "Save Rock and Roll" album.  I'm going to see them in concert on Tuesday, so I need to know all their new songs!

Current Guilty Pleasure: Obsessing over my iPhone.  After getting one about a month ago, I just can't stop playing with it!  I never wanted to be that person, so hopefully it'll wear off soon.  My students have even picked up on my guilty pleasure, as one of them tweeted "I want a relationship like Mrs. Herring has with her iPhone." (another student showed it to me, I don't follow my students on Twitter).

Current Nail Color: None of my nails are actually painted!  I need to paint my toenails ASAP with all the sandal-wearing that's occurring now.

Current Drink: Water.  My usual drink when lounging around the house

Current Food: I've been eating a lot of Big Cheez-It's today!  Gotta get them in before my clean eating challenge starts tomorrow (more on that later).

Fun fact: My roommates in college would call these "crack Cheez-Its" because once we had a handful, we'd keep going back for more all night.  Oh, good memories!  That year of living with Kristie, Courtney, and Farrah was the best!

Current Favorite Show: Well, my usual favorites of Grey's Anatomy and Glee are over for the season.  I guess you'd say that Wheel of Fortune is my current favorite!  Did y'all see the girl win a million dollars on Thursday?!?  So exciting!

Current Wish List: Quite honestly, I can't think of anything I want right now!  If I had to pick something, I guess it would be some lulu workout gear from the outlet in Orlando.

Current Needs: A band-aid for my thumb.  I sliced it a little cleaning a knife today :-\

Current Indulgence: Baking brownies and eating them with fun frosting.  The mix was buy-one-get-one at the store last week, so I got the urge to bake today.

Current Blessing: My third school year is coming to a close, and I'm about 90% sure my job is secure for the next school year!  There were some budget concerns, and I was beginning to worry since I'm one of the newer teachers to the school.  But, the department head told me last week that everything looks like it's going to work out!

Current Outfit: My running clothes.  Just got back from my first long run of half marathon training!

Current Excitement: Fall Out Boy concert on Tuesday and my birthday on Thursday!
